Our Mission
The mission of the Tony Smith Sculpture Project (TSSP) is to make the life, work, and impact of artist Tony Smith easily accessible and beneficial to the public.
Through the support of public art projects, such as Smith’s sculpture TAU, the Lennie Pierro Memorial Arts Foundation (LPMAF), which sponsors the project, seeks to enrich the lives not only of residents of Smith’s hometown, South Orange, but of visitors from all communities.
The on-going work of the TSSP and LPMAF (named after the late artist and art educator, Lennie Pierro of South Orange), is supported chiefly by private donations.

In addition to cash gifts, there are many ways to support LPMAF, and each can offer the donor distinct tax advantages. Discuss with your financial planner how to make the gift that you truly want to give.
Gifts of Securities: Securities, publicly traded or privately held, may be donated to LPMAF and can provide certain tax advantages. Donors receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the stock as of the date the gift is received at LPMAF.
Life Income Giving: You have the opportunity to make a lasting investment in LPMAF through several programs: Charitable Gift Annuities, Pooled Income Funds, Charitable Remainder Unitrusts, and Charitable Lead Trusts.
Wills/Bequests: It is easy to remember LPMAF in your will by designating a portion or set amount of your estate to pass to the organization.
